Park Slope Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Inc. (PSVAC) is an all-volunteer organization based in Park Slope, Brooklyn that provides emergency medical response, rescue operation, assessment, treatment, and transport to patients regardless of the ability to pay in the greater Park Slope Community (including Sunset Park, Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, Red Hook, Boerum Hill, Brooklyn Heights, Prospect Heights Columbia Waterfront).
We have been operating since 1992 as a registered 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization and have met the challenges of serving our community for over 25 years.
The heart and soul of PSVAC is its dedicated membership. PSVAC is composed of unpaid volunteers who donate their time, skills, and experience. Many of our volunteers have begun valuable and rewarding careers, using their EMS background as an excellent foundation.
